Golf Business News – HMH Sell Tracy Park Estate near Bath for undisclosed sum.

Tracy Park was brought to the market by HMH Golf & Leisure in May with a guide price of £12m.

Tom Marriott at HMH Golf & Leisure comments: “We went to the open market at the end of May. A local businessman has emerged as a popular buyer. Terms were agreed and the sale was completed at the end of September.

“The 36-hole business and hotel/wedding venue on 220 acres of relaxed countryside has closed and the new owner is looking at alternative uses for the property.

“The market continues to surprise us with the variety of consumers and alternatives used in some of the products we sell.”

Ben Allen at HMH Golf & Leisure said: “Tracy Park is the ninth golf-related business we have sold so far this year and our third golf hotel. With two municipal golf courses on offer and soon to be completed, 2024 looks to be a good year for our market. We expect to announce further sales in the coming weeks.”
