However, the most memorable moment was Pandya’s brilliant catch, which effectively ended Bangladesh’s hopes of a comeback.

At the beginning of the day, India posted a formidable total of 221/9led by Nitish Reddy’s explosive 74 off 34 balls and Rinku Singh’s crucial 53. Rishad Hossain was the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers, taking 3 wickets for 55 runs.

India now enter the third and final T20I with a chance to complete the series sweep, while Bangladesh will look for a consolation win.
