Wild Filip Gustavsson Scores Rare Goalie Goal in 4-1 Win vs. Blues – Hockey Writers – NHL News

The Minnesota Wild (2-0-2) kept their season-opening streak alive with a 4-1 road win over the St. Louis Blues (2-2-0) on Tuesday, October 15. The first of four meetings between different enemies went to the northern group.

In addition to scoring goals, Gustavsson stopped 27 of the 28 shots he faced. On the other hand, Jordan Binington made 23 saves on 26 shots for the Blues.

Next, the St. Louis will stay in Missouri to face the New York Islanders on Oct. 17. The Wild will get a break, not seeing the ice again until Oct. 19 to wrap up their season series against the Columbus Blue. Jackets. This time, Minnesota will be on the road.
