Former Arsenal player turned Sky Sports broadcaster, Paul Merson, has launched a scathing commentary on the way Todd Boehly handled Chelsea’s transfer business.
Every time the transfer window has opened recently, the Blues have been at the sharp end of every deal being made, and have probably been the busiest club in the last two summer windows.
That clearly did not impress Merson.
“They (Chelsea/Boehly) just went out and bought whoever was available and did well on YouTube,” he said on Sky’s Soccer Saturday programme.
