Golf Business News – DP World extends Ryder Cup partnership

The PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe have announced that DP World, a leading provider of end-to-end solutions, has extended its partnership as a Global Partner of the Ryder Cup through the 2027 Games.

The announcement follows recent events marking the milestone of the 2025 Ryder Cup ‘moving’ to New York.

First named as a global partner for 2023, DP World began official support of the Ryder Cup ahead of the games in Rome last year. The 2023 partnership highlighted the importance of DP World’s global network of advanced logistics capabilities, as the organization helped coordinate and accelerate the flow of resources needed to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Among other initiatives, DP World brought in essential electrical and solar equipment, 90 mobility scooters to support attendees with reduced mobility, and nearly a dozen containers containing more than 10,000 items used throughout the tournament.

With the Ryder Cup’s unique needs, the partnership highlights the tournament’s mission to promote international goodwill and sport and DP World’s excellence in delivery, global reach, prestige and community investment.

Transport company DP World has started its Ryder Cup sponsorship ahead of the 2023 games in Rome.

DP World will continue to bring its industry-leading capabilities to help deliver the highly anticipated club golf event in 2025 at Bethpage Black and 2027 at Adare Manor in Ireland.
