New Zealand achieved a historic victory of the series India, ending the second Test in Pune by 113 runs. The win marked New Zealand’s first ever Test series victory on Indian soil, ending India’s 18-match home series win that began in 2012. Despite India being heavy favourites, especially in their home ground, New Zealand failed to face the odds and had a chance to win. series with one game remaining.
