Golf Business News – Elevate Golf’s inaugural tour event hailed ‘remarkable success’
The first edition of the Elevate Golf tourism event has been recognized with incredible success as the best golf companies and golf resorts in Scotland connected over the course of five days.
Held between October 27-31, leading golf courses, accommodation providers and international tour operators come together to secure appointments, as well as more formal meetings including rounds of golf at Turnberry, Carnoustie and Dumbarnie, and refreshments receptions. In total, more than 3,000 face-to-face business meetings took place over the course of five days.
Hosted by Sky TV presenter and broadcaster Di Stewart, the invite-only B2B event saw representatives from over 100 golf courses in the UK and Ireland – as well as selected courses from continental Europe – gather at St Andrews and Old Course Hotel to chat with them. 50 of the world’s largest travel users.
Elevate Golf culminated with a dinner to celebrate the world golf tour on October 31 at the Old Course Hotel. In the evening, Sam Baker, founder and chairman of travel company Haversham & Baker, received a warm welcome as he collected the Elevate Golf achievement award, and hotelier Sir Rocco Forte, chairman of Rocco Forte Hotels, took part in an exclusive Q&A, with attendees hearing his thoughts on various topics in the luxury hospitality industry.

The event is believed to be the first time that all Open Championship rota venues have been present at one business-to-business event.

Elevate Golf 2025 will be held from October 26-31 and will start in Liverpool. The final part of the event will return to St Andrews and the Fairmont St Andrews.
