These professional golfers turned heads on Halloween

Hello, friends, and welcome to the Halloween edition of The Rogers Report! I am happy to report that the professionals and their families all came out this year.
The Donalds and Team Europe
No professional golf family does Halloween with The Donalds. They make a full commitment every year, and 2024 was the same. The 2025 Ryder Cup captain and his family donned New York City-themed attire in preparation for his performance in Bethpage next fall, and they did not disappoint.
Even their dog got into it! I’m a big fan of the dedication here and would love for all Ryder Cup captains to dress like the city they’re competing against going forward.
It’s not just the European team captain who brought their A-game on Halloween Thursday. Shane Lowry went as Travis Kelce and his daughter went as Taylor Swift. As a huge Taylor Swift fan, I have to give Lowry the official Rogers Report Best Costume award, because honoring Kelce is indirectly showing respect to Swift. I just wish she had a few friendship rings to bring her costume to the next level.
One thing I definitely was not what I expected to see on my social media feed on Thursday evening was Rory McIlroy dressed as Mario.
I didn’t have any professional athletes or celebrities in my hometown growing up, so I can’t imagine what it must be like for families to see the world’s best golfers in full costume. Hilarious, I would think.
Imagine handing out sweets to cheaters and suddenly two of the biggest champions in your house and their kids look like that! Unbelievable.
LIV golfers
Next up we have the LIV Golf Halloween costume section. I really hope all the following golfers offer full-sized candies to foul.
Anthony Kim wore an inflatable dinosaur costume to match his daughter, Bella, on Thursday.
To think that many golf fans have spent the better part of the last decade wondering where Anthony Kim has been, and now he’s posting pictures like this online. I wonder if that costume helped him stay incognito while doing some work in later years.
Brooks Koepka, Jena Sims and their son went as the characters of “Men in Black.”
I can’t really dissect this costume as I’ve never seen the movie, but I hope it hits the nail on the head.
Marc Leishman and his family had the most adorable costumes in my opinion, because there wasn’t really a cohesive theme. There were a few outfits close to Taylor Swift and the cow and the pink monster.
I’m a huge fan of anything Taylor Swift, so they get an A in my book.
Kevin Na and his family took to the air in “Star Wars” costumes, which is no surprise because they crush the costume game every year.
For reference, here are their 2023 Halloween looks:
And to round out the LIV Golf category, we have Talor Gooch who was shirtless, but that’s okay because her kids looked as cute as Elsa and Olaf from “Frozen.”
The LPGA Tour
Jessica Korda, her husband and son dressed as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Thursday night, while Nelly Korda went as Master Splinter.
The LPGA also posted some fun Halloween photos, so enjoy these great photos from back in the day.
The PGA Tour
And now for the PGA Tour category (Non-European Ryde Cup group). The Woodlands, the Blairs, the Burnses, the Kaufmans and the Villegases were all well dressed, but there was one family that went above and beyond.
Tony Finau headed to his late mother’s grave to play “Thriller” in costume with his family, and the results were spectacular.
No one social medias or dances better than the Finau family.
