Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort in France has announced the appointment of Paul Armitage as Director of Development, effective December 1.

Armitage holds key positions among several hotel and golf resorts in France and brings 30 years of experience to the role.

As part of his new position Armitage will be responsible for directing and supporting the commercial development of the Provence resort, establishing the resort as a highly regarded national and international golf resort.

Terre Blanche has two championship courses and is a regular host of Ladies European Tour and Legends Tour events

He will use his leadership, knowledge and passion to develop new relationships with top players in the golf and tourism industry, to support the establishment of national and international sporting events.

Armitage has established himself at the highest level in his industry in Europe, particularly during the seven years he spent as General Manager of Le Golf National in Paris, during which time he led the golf course through the organization of the 2018 Ryder Cup with impressive success. Under his leadership, he has worked tirelessly to elevate the resort to world-class golf.

He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the French Golf Federation and, more recently, he has been involved in the preparation of the men’s and women’s golf events during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as part of the association’s committee.
