Lacking constant contact? This 1 fix can help fix that

Every golfer has it others the kind of swing error that causes them to hit inconsistent shots. The difference between good and really good players, is that the latter know how to fix problems quickly, allowing them to regain their strong tendency to hit the ball.

But for a disabled person like me, it can be a struggle to identify and correct any common swing mistakes.

After spending the last few days in Florida on a golf trip, one thing I noticed about my swing was a simple thing: The better my tempo, the better my shooting results, as this allows my sequence to be where it should be to avoid. all kinds of problems.

I have a tendency to stick my chest out front, which sinks my head and can lead to the club coming out. That’s why my miss is usually fat (or a piece).

So what is the easiest way to clean this up? Golf instructor to watch Devan Bonebrake says it’s a combination of tempo and release, and shares a tip in the video below to help build better consistency. Check it out!

Adjust your release to improve your golf swing

“This is something I see from many of my students,” Bonebrake begins the video. “At impact, their upper body takes over, they go too far forward, and the club never catches, so the chest is too big, if not, around the clubhead. [after impact].”

When a player does this, it can cause a number of problems that lead to poor ball hitting – from a lack of clubface control to weight transfer problems.

But Bonebrake offers a quick and easy solution to stop doing this.

“I want you to feel like the trail foot is landing, the club is fast, and the chest stays on the ball for a long time — almost like the clubhead has traveled a lot further than the chest,” he instructs.

After feeling the correct swing, Bonebrake says to simply swing the club back and forth, feel it release and make sure you’re swinging and not chest-swinging.

“So you can just practice your swings when you come back [in the backswing]then finish, then go back and repeat before preparing for the ball,” he adds. “Getting my chest to slow down a little bit for impact will make it a lot easier to allow that team to catch and run, creating a full release and transfer of power.”
