The Professional Golfers’ Association is pleased to announce that following a review of the patronage of the late Queen Elizabeth II, His Majesty King Charles III has accepted PGA sponsorship.

The King succeeds the late Her Majesty, who assumed the throne shortly after his accession in 1952, as well as King George VI and King Edward VIII. It is a source of great pride that the PGA’s long relationship with the Crown continues.

Robert Maxfield, Chief Executive Officer of the PGA, said: “This marks another proud milestone for our Association and its Members. We are very honored by King Charles III’s decision to accept the sponsorship of the Professional Golfers’ Association. “
