Klopp is delighted to be part of Liverpool history as he says goodbye to Anfield
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp bid farewell to the club at Anfield after watching his side win on the final day of the Premier League season.
The Reds boss is leaving after nine years in charge, having won almost every trophy on offer.

It was a comfortable afternoon inside a heart-warming stadium on Merseyside.
The game was going to be a one-run game and there was no way back for Wolves when Liverpool went 2-0 up.
Finally, an event was organized for Klopp and his staff, who appeared in special T-shirts and performed a tribute act while the crowd sang their favorite songs with him.
Speaking about his departure, Klopp said: “I thought it might be very painful at first but when people see, everything is good. Be honest.
“If I continue, these guys and others will say ‘he’s been there for a long time.’ You have to be a spark. I love the team. There are many possibilities. They will make changes here and there.
“I’m sure you will all agree that it doesn’t need to be fixed. We finished third. We were early. It’s a statement in this tough league and I agree with that.”
Liverpool were in contention for the title until the final weeks but fell behind Arsenal and eventual champions Manchester City.

Klopp is still the only coach to dethrone Pep Guardiola since he first won the Premier League with City in 2018.
He added: “It has been a long time since this day and it was really intense.
“I also had bad times but thank God, not today. I’m just thankful for what happened.
“When you’re in it, you forget sometimes how big it is. You take it for granted. Now I’m standing here, I’m very happy that I’m part of the club’s history. It’s delicious.
“It’s so special that it’s hard to describe. We live in a world where everything is about results for others.
“We learn that not having everything is okay. It is such a great lesson in life. It’s not about that, it’s about the journey and meeting and that’s what I love. Things can go wrong all the time.
“Some clubs with a lot of money and high-level managers win it. We didn’t have the best manager and we never had the best team but for a long time we played the best football and I like that.
“We are a strong team and we don’t overuse. People say ‘you didn’t spend enough money’. What do you want? I understand this in Liverpool’s way.”
