Twitter reaction: Harmeet Singh, Corey Anderson shine as USA shock Bangladesh, make history with first T20I win
I United States of America (USA) registered a historic victory over Bangladesh in the first T20I of the three-match series at the Prairie View Cricket Complex. Chasing a target of 154 runs, the USA batsmen showed courage and determination to secure victory.
Bangladesh are faltering despite Tohid Hridoy’s fifty
Bangladesh, after batting first, were restricted to 153/6 in their allotted 20 overs. The openers Litton Das (14) and Soumya Sarkar (20) gave a good start, but the middle program failed to capitalize. The only bright spot was a well put together 58 off 47 balls from him. Hridoy asked, full of four and two dimensions. USA skaters shared the success, no Steven Taylor leading the attack with figures of 2/9 in his three overs.

In reply, USA’s innings got off to a bad start as they lost their captain Monank Patel (12) cheap. However, an important relationship between Steven Taylor (28) again Andries Gous (23) strengthen the ship. Later, Harmeet Singh (33 not out from 13 balls) showed some power to hit three sixes, bringing USA closer to the target.

Corey Anderson (34) and enter with a significant knock on the front Mustafizur Rahman (2/41) took two wickets in the over to create tension. In the end, Harmeet’s four runs sealed the win for USA with three balls to spare.
For his batting prowess, Harmeet was adjudged the Player of the Match.
