Man Utd and Bayern Munich have ‘warned’ Mauricio Pochettino’s availability after Chelsea’s exit.

Bayern Munich and Manchester United are both reportedly interested in signing Mauricio Pochettino following his shock exit from Chelsea.

Pochettino parted ways with the Blues on Tuesday after his post-season review left both sides agreeing that change was needed, with Chelsea now in the hunt for their fourth-term manager at Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital.

Reports suggest that Pochettino is ready to return to work and, according to Evening Standardhe could soon receive offers from Bayern and United.

Bayern are on the hunt for a new manager and have publicly failed in their bid for three points – Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Rangnick – and are believed to have seen a bid for Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner turned away.

Talks with current manager Thomas Tuchel over a stay beyond this summer ultimately fell through, so Bayern were left scrambling for targets, with the German giants quickly adding Pochettino to their shortlist.

The situation is unclear for United, who have yet to make a final decision on the future of current manager Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman will get a chance to make a final statement in Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester City, before finding out if new owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has decided to make a change.

Pochettino, who has long been a favorite at Old Trafford, has now emerged as a man of interest for United, with Ratcliffe and INEOS reportedly interested in the Argentine.

His availability and knowledge of the English game both work for Pochettino, although it is not known whether he would be interested in a move to United.
