Al Nassr terminates the defender’s contract immediately

Al Nassr terminated Alex Telles’ contract immediately.

The Saudi Pro League club signed the Brazilian defender from Manchester United one year ago.

However, looking to get his £135,000-a-week wages on their books, Al Nassr have agreed to part ways with the 31-year-old.

Sending a series of the best clips of the defender on official social networks, Al Nassr paid tribute to South America.

“Al Nassr can announce that Brazilian star Alex Telles has left the Club by mutual consent.” club said to X.

Thank you for everything, Alex.”

Alex Telles left Al Nassr by mutual consent.

According to a report by TalkSPORT, former Porto want to sign the defender.

The transfer window for the Portuguese will close on Monday night but with Telles now a free agent, the defender is under no obligation to sign before the deadline.

However, despite being without a squad and Manchester United reportedly looking for a new defender to help cover for the injured Luke Shaw, a return to Old Trafford is unlikely to happen.

According to GiveMeSport, the Red Devils will target a young left-back next year with Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez and Fulham’s Antonee Robinson among Erik Ten Hag’s options.
