Amadou Onana’s latest transfer twist has left Villa fans reeling

Man Utd have reportedly tried to hijack Aston Villa’s last-minute bid to sign Everton midfielder Amadou Onana.

In the summer transfer window, the Red Devils are eager to sign a new midfielder, with Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte reportedly a target.

Het Nieuwsblad claim that the Premier League giants are trying to hijack Aston Villa’s signing of Amadou Onana from Everton.

Onana will undergo a trial at Villa Park this weekend and is expected to complete his move to Villa Park.

The sale of this Everton star is not in danger, although the Red Devils have been late to sign him.

Het Nieuwsblad reported that Onana’s move to Villa Park is “almost complete.”

Man United have already completed the signing of striker Joshua Zirkzee and defender Leny Yoro and are now working hard in the transfer market to sign a new midfielder.

Umai Emery’s side have agreed to pay €60m to sign the Belgian from Everton this summer.

This player will replace Douglas Luiz in this team who left to join Juventus.

It is a statement signed by the Midlands club who will play in the Champions League next season after finishing in the top four of the Premier League last season.
