Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign the Bournemouth goalkeeper

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Bournemouth on a deadline day loan to sign of goalkeeper Neto, many reports have been revealed.

The Gunners are preparing to land Southampton’s Aaron Ramsdale in a £25m move – he has already had a trial at St Mary’s and will sign his contract later today.

Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia has been heavily linked with Arsenal, however Athletic are one of many outlets to report that talks to bring the Spaniard to north London have reached an impasse.

That led to Arsenal quickly agreeing to a loan with Bournemouth for Neto, who is about to complete medical tests before moving to the Emirates Stadium.

Neto is currently the captain of the Bournemouth team and has been their first choice goalkeeper for most of his time at the club. But with Kepa Arrizabalaga signing from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal on Thursday, the Cherries are set to ease their way out.

Athletic’s The report adds that one of Bournemouth’s goalkeepers, Mark Travers, is attracting attention from Crystal Palace, who look set to make a move for Sam Johnstone before the transfer window closes.

As for Arsenal, they have already strengthened Mikel Arteta’s squad with the permanent signing of David Raya, while bringing in two European Championship stars this summer; Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori, who can play at center back and left back, and Mikel Merino, who have increased the team’s midfield options.
