Arturas Karnisovas on possible Zach LaVine trade: We won’t make deals that won’t make us better

LaVine is recovering from right foot surgery, overcoming an injury that plagued him last season before limiting him to 25 games. Karnišovas, a former Seton Hall standout and member of the Lithuanian national team, expressed sympathy for LaVine’s trying season, saying many of LaVine’s struggles last season stemmed from a foot injury and he did everything he could to play. “Not being healthy and not being able to play I think was a big concern for me,” said Karnišovas. “And I think now he feels 100 percent.” -via The New York Times / July 15, 2024
