TaylorMade is bringing back its popular Pix USA design TP5 and TP5x golf balls this Fourth of July Holiday, but the company is making a patriotic addition to the lineup with the Tour Response Stripe USA golf balls.
With the TP5 and TP5x Pix balls, the perfectly placed graphics on the ball form ‘Clearpath Alignment,’ which includes the outline of the TaylorMade logo and the TP5 stamp to create a clear line from the ball to the hole, providing a faster visual response. The graphics are similar to regular merchandise, but are done in a star and stripe pattern.
The TP5 golf balls feature the same technology as the regular version, including a five-layer design and High-Flex Material (HFM) in the mantle to provide a combination of fast speeds with soft feel and acoustics.
Meanwhile, the Tour Response Stripe USA is new this year. Tour Response is designed to combine tour-level technology with recreational-level players. That means updating this version of the ball with a new dimple pattern – first used on the TP5 and TP5x balls – to promote improved aerodynamics and a longer carry distance.
Line models include 360° ClearPath Alignment and the alignment aid is divided into three red, white and blue sections, each with a star line to help you find the bottom of the cup.
