Chelsea ace eye Everton, Wolves

Chelsea are reportedly looking to sell a number of players ahead of today’s accounting deadline on Financial Fair Play grounds, with Armando Broja’s future likely to be in doubt.

The Albanian is available as Everton, Wolves, AC Milan and Bologna are all looking at him, according to the Guardian, but it remains to be seen if he is one of the names that could be ruled out before tonight’s deadline.

Broja struggled on loan at Fulham last season after previously failing to break into Chelsea’s first team, so it makes sense that he could be the man to be shown the door at Stamford Bridge.

It will be interesting to see where Broja ends up, and it is possible that we will see the 22-year-old play elsewhere in the Premier League, with Everton and Wolves looking like good places, although someone like Milan is obviously a big name.

Then, the issue of choosing a club like Milan could be that he might encounter the same problems as he did at Chelsea, as there is more competition for places.

Broja transfer: Should Chelsea risk letting this talented youngster go?

Chelsea fans may be apprehensive about a sale like this as Broja has shown great potential on loan at Southampton.

CFC may need to give Broja more time to develop his game and gain confidence, as he may have the potential to shine in their first team.

However, not every young player can go on to become one of the stars of the game, although Chelsea had some luck in allowing Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah to leave at the same time they were banned.

All three have gone on to become world-class players elsewhere, and they won’t want to see the same for a player as highly regarded as Broja.
