The Twins plan to pick up the right fielder’s contract David Festa, reports Bobby Nightengale of the Star Tribune. The 24-year-old will be called up before Thursday’s final against the Diamondbacks in Arizona. Minnesota has an open spot on the 40-man roster, though the team would still need to make a corresponding move to add Festa to the 26-man roster. He will take over for someone who has just been injured Chris Paddack with twin rotations.
