Clippers Grilled Over ‘Crazy’ Ticket Prices at New Arena

Clippers fans have long had access to some of the most affordable tickets in the NBA.

But those days may be over, with the team unveiling steep prices for opening night with the Suns on Oct. 23, which will also mark the first-ever NBA game played in the new Intuit Dome.

As of Wednesday, the most affordable tickets in the lower bowl were $360 each. The cheapest seats anywhere in the arena were $195.

The price increase is a bitter pill for Clippers fans to swallow, especially considering their squad has always fallen short of expectations. The team also lost two popular players in the summer, Paul George and Russell Westbrook both packing their bags.

“As a lifelong Clippers fan, you guys should be ashamed of the prices you put on opening night tickets and regular regular season games,” wrote one Clippers fan on X, formerly Twitter.

“So sad to see,” another fan wrote. “Going to open my mouth is something I’ve been waiting years to do. But I don’t want to support those values. Traveling with someone would cost me $500+ for the worst seats,” one fan wrote on social media.”

It remains to be seen whether these prices are a new normal or a temporary increase due to the frenzy surrounding the newly constructed stadium.

Either way, Clippers fans are not happy:
