Aside from the cosmetic changes, the King Tour, MB and CB instruments still have the same looks and technology as the current retail offerings. Each head undergoes a five-step molding process that begins with heating the carbon steel billets to 1,200 degrees, then roughing them three times (this is step 1 through 3) to create the steel shape.
Step 4 involves 1,200 tons of pressure at 800 degrees to refine shapes and apply details and shapes. In Step 5, each steel is subjected to a pressure of 2,000 tons – which if you need visual, that’s the weight of 80 full-size fire trucks – at 700 degrees to form the steel into a more uniform and isotropic internal grain structure.

After cooling, each head is polished and ready for the faces and cracks to be precision milled using a CNC machine. The result is a precise shape and flat club face, tighter weight tolerance, better face consistency and improved feel across the face.
I The King Tour it is designed for players who want the benefits from the above-mentioned design process with the advantage of the good feeling of the aluminum medal and the TPU coating. Each iron has a CNC-milled underbody cavity within the back space, which redistributes weight from the midsole to the lower area and more to the heel and toe. The undercut irons are deeper on the long irons for more forgiveness and get deeper on the shorter clubs for easier shots.
To enhance the feel, the hole in each iron is filled with a soft TPU material and then filled with an aluminum medallion. Combined, the TPU and the medallion work together to produce a soft feel and pleasant sound.

The best and most compact irons in the King iron family, i CB (cavity-back) and MB (muscle-back) irons with narrower upper lines, reduced offset, smaller soles and shorter blade lengths for superior shot shaping. The CB irons have a cavity-back shape with a slight offset for more forgiveness, while the muscle-back MB irons are traditional, non-reversible blades.
