CPL 2024 [WATCH]: Pakistan’s Azam Khan takes a stunning catch to dismiss Johnson Charles

Guyana Amazon Warriors put in an excellent all-round performance to secure a comfortable six-wicket win St Lucia Kings in Match 10 of Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024. The match, held at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia, saw the Warriors completely defeat the Kings in both batting and bowling.

St Lucia Kings are lax in batting

The Kings, after being beaten, struggled to put together 100 runs in just 14.3 overs. Matthew Forde was the bright spot, scoring 31 runs off 21 balls with two sixes and three boundaries. However, the batting order failed to offer any resistance, collapsing under the pressure of the Warriors’ direct bowling attack.

Imran Tahir again Gudakesh Motie were Guyana’s main destroyers, each taking three wickets. Their tricky spin kept the St Lucia batsmen tight, as well Keemo Paul two important wickets went in, the Kings found themselves unable to form a meaningful partnership, and ended up folding for a small total.
