Declan Rice blames the pitch after an embarrassing pass against Denmark

England drew 1-1 with Denmark earlier today which was not a pleasant experience under Gareth Southgate.

The Three Lions took the lead through Harry Kane, who capitalized on Kyle Walker’s curling ball.

However, after gaining the advantage, England adopted a defensive approach, which allowed Denmark to get an equalizer before the break. The game ended in a tense affair, with Southgate facing criticism for his tactics.

Despite the presence of highly skilled players performing well in their clubs, the England squad has struggled to translate that success onto the international stage.

Among the players who played well was Declan Rice, who had an average game. Rice played the entire 90 minutes but only managed one shot at them and seemed unable to control the ball.

The worst moment for the Arsenal midfielder is gone. In the clip, Jordan Pickford passes the ball to Rice near the edge of the England box.

Rice’s heavy first touch and misplaced pass led to Denmark’s corner. He was seen gesturing towards the pitch, seemingly blaming the grass for his mistake.
