The DP World Tour Championship is the final leg of the Race to Dubai and comes with a $9 million prize for the winner.

The culmination of 44 tournaments, 50 players battle it out at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai to compete for the title and be crowned No.1.

The tournament will be shown on Sky Sports in the UK. You can get Sky here or buy a NowTV pass to watch all four days.

Rory McIlroy is in good shape to be crowned European No. 1 for the sixth time and leads the rankings with 1,785.02 points. It means he is almost certain to win the race to Dubai 2024 unless he finishes 12th or lower and South Africa’s Thriston Lawrence finishes first in Dubai.

There is still a lot of controversy surrounding this tournament other than the first place. The top ten players in the Race to Dubai standings will receive dual membership and a PGA Tour card next year.

Lawrence tops the list as it stands, followed by Rasmus Højgaard, Paul Waring, Niklas Norgaard, Matteo Manassero, Jesper Svensson, Thorbjørn Olesen, Rikuya Hoshino, Sebastian Söderberg and Jordan Smith.

However, others will be hoping to jump into the top ten to secure their spot.

McIlroy is the top-ranked player in the tournament as World No.3 and will compete with fellow majors Adam Scott, Shane Lowry and Justin Rose. Others who will be leading include Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrrell Hatton and Billy Horschel.
