France will be without their captain and star striker Kylian Mbappe when they face the Netherlands in Leipzig tomorrow.
Mbappe broke his nose during their 1-0 win against Austria and is unlikely to return before the knockout stage. Fortunately for Les Bleus, their 1-0 win at Dusseldorf on Monday put them in a strong position as they still need one win to advance.
The same can be said for the Netherlands, who came from behind to beat Poland 2-1 in their Group D opener.
It remains to be seen whether Wout Weghorst’s heroics as a late substitute – the former Manchester United man coming off the bench to score the winner in the 83rd minute – will see him earn a place in the starting XI.
