In contrast, GT ended their campaign with 12 points, missing out on the play-off spots. This marks SRH’s first appearance since the 2020 season, having previously finished 8th in 2021, 2022 and 10th in 2023.

The day of the match was marked by heavy rain which delayed the toss and eventually led to the match ending without a ball being bowled.
