Fatima Sana named Pakistan captain for 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup
The 10 players who made it to the final quota for the 2023 T20 World Cup are part of the 15-member squad. They include Aliya Riaz, Muneeba Ali, Nashra Sandhu, Omaima Sohail, Sadia Iqbal, Sidra Amin, Tuba Hassan, Shamas, Dar and Fatima. Left-arm spinner Sadia’s selection is less than solid while left-arm seamer Tasmia Rubab is also part of the squad.
Pakistan also named Alvi, who had been left out of the senior squad, as a traveling reserve. Rameen Shamim and Umm-e-Hani are non-tourist sites.
