Get Golfing The UK’s leading golf and hospitality charity will host the inaugural G4D Women’s Golf Championship at the Festival of Golf.
Last month Get Golfing and the European Disabled Golf Association (EDGA) announced a pioneering partnership establishing the Get Golfing G4D Series which will provide golfing opportunities for disabled golfers at three of Get Golfing’s leading courses in the UK.
The Get Golfing G4D Women’s Golf Championship marks the first women’s golf event with a disability to be brought to the world.
This historic event underscores the EDGA’s global efforts to promote golf for people with disabilities and Get Golfing’s ongoing commitment to making golf accessible to all.
This international event, the G4D Women’s Golf Championship, will attract female golfers with various disabilities from around the world to compete for the first title that will mark the future of golf championships for women with disabilities.
The G4D Women’s Golf Championship will be held at The Club at Mill Green on Tuesday, August 27, and Wednesday, 28 August 2024, which is a key part of the Festival of Golf, just two days before the Ladies European Tour Access Series Women’s. Golf Championship.
