Former NBA Player Responds to Sheryl Swoopes’ Recent Caitlin Clark Shade

The former NBA player responded to WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes hotshot Cailtin Clark and compared it to her time in the NBA.

In his latest attack on Clark, Swoopes says his Fever teammates don’t like playing there because of the negative attention from his fans.

“There’s a lot of other things going on that other players are like, ‘It’s not where I want to be,'” Swoopes said. Gil’s place. “So you have key players on this Indiana Fever team who are like, ‘I don’t think that’s where I want to be this year.’

Former NBA player Sam Dekker responded to X and used an example from his time playing with James Harden on the Rockets to debunk Swoopes’ opinion.

Being on the Rockets with Prime Harden was the best shit ever. We were on National TV all the time, won a ton of big games at amazing times, and he made the game incredibly easy for guys like me. I can’t believe at all that the team doesn’t like it.

Swoopes also furthered his Clark hate story on the same podcast by saying he’s not dominating the league as a rookie.

“To me, what Caitlin has been able to do in a short period of time has been very impressive,” he said of Clark’s improvement after the All-Star break. “… I still don’t think he’s dominant, but he’s a different player than he was in the first half of the season.”
