Carnoustie Golf Links has produced a natural course map designed to highlight the various wildlife and natural areas present throughout the historic links.
This latest move demonstrates Carnoustie Golf Links’ continued commitment to environmental sustainability, providing locals and visitors with an immersive outdoor experience that celebrates the area’s unique ecosystem.
The Nature Trail Map offers visitors the opportunity to explore the off-course features of the Carnoustie coastline, containing information about the plant life, bird species, and wildlife that thrive in the area.
The five trails have been carefully mapped to allow participants to enjoy walking or wandering the trails, whether they are nature enthusiasts, local families, or tourists who want to explore the natural environment beyond the roads.

- Sustainability Initiatives: Information about the course’s ongoing initiatives to reduce carbon footprints, promote biodiversity, and preserve natural habitats.
- Wildlife: Areas identified as important habitats for mammals such as otters, deer and foxes.
Carnoustie Golf Links is recognized worldwide for its environmental practices, holding certifications such as Golf Environmental Organization (GEO) accreditation.
