Golf Business News – England Golf launches new web page to support female golfers
England Golf has launched a new web page dedicated to ’empowering and inspiring the next generation of golfers’.
‘Golf Fore Her’ is designed to provide guidance and support on many stages of a woman’s life, from the basics to the impact of your golf, and how golf can help you.
Alongside England Golf’s Respect in Golf movement, launched in 2023 to drive inclusivity and accessibility to show that golf is a game for everyone, Golf Fore Her aims to empower and inspire the next generation of golfers.
Michelle McGill who leads Golf in England said: “We know that many women stop playing sports during life stages that affect their health, but we also know that golf can have a positive effect on the body. the benefits of travel and the mental health benefits of having fun and playing with friends.
“We want to raise awareness and support for women golfers, and ensure that our more than 1700 clubs, 62 regionally affiliated institutions, can use the information to support their current and future members and visitors. The web page is there to support them through all these stages of life and help them continue to play golf.”
After signing the Brighton plus Helsinki Declaration earlier this year, England Golf continues to demonstrate its commitment to increasing women’s participation in the sport and creating a safe and equal environment for women and girls to play golf.
Golf Fore Her covers topics such as the menstrual cycle, hormonal birth control, breast health, menstruation, the pelvic floor and before and after childbirth.
