England Golf has launched a new video series that champions inspirational stories from golfers to promote inclusion in the sport.
‘We’re all golfers’ covers the physical, social and mental health benefits the game brings to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The series is meant to encourage participation but also highlight the shared love of the game that brings people across the country together to play all forms of the game.
The hero’s video, which can be viewed here, emphasizes that the game of golf is for everyone and shows that the game is not about individual success in terms of your results, but the game’s ability to bring people from all walks of life together to enjoy playing the game.
Over the coming weeks, England Golf will be releasing a three-part series tackling individual stories of how players from around the country are adapting to their needs in order to enjoy the benefits of golf. The aim is to encourage more players of all backgrounds to get involved with golf and experience the physical, social and mental health benefits of participating, in whatever style of the game they choose.
England Golf prides itself on ensuring that the game is accessible to anyone and everyone, whether you are a seasoned professional or a beginner. Through Golf England, the national governing body is committed to running tournaments for all golfers, including the upcoming English Open for Golfers with a Disability in June, which is the perfect showcase for the skill, excitement and inclusivity of golf.
