Golf Business News – Kubota celebrates 50 years in Europe
Kubota marked 50 years of business operations in Europe by holding a special themed event at PortAventura in Spain.
The event welcomed more than 900 attendees, including dealers, distributors, partners, international media and employees, demonstrating Kubota’s status as a leading manufacturer of agricultural, land care and construction equipment.
The event provided an opportunity to celebrate, network and gain insight into Kubota’s future. Attendees were presented with exciting new additions to Kubota’s growing portfolio, including the introduction of the M7004 tractor and a limited edition model, of which only 50 units will be produced.
The unique ‘1 in 1’ edition was also unveiled and signed by former Formula 1 driver Jean Alesi, the evening’s special guest, who drew fascinating parallels between Formula 1 and Kubota’s success, highlighting the contributions of the people behind it.
From a world maintenance perspective, Kubota unveiled the upcoming 44hp Front Center Collect machine, which has contributed to the rapid growth in this sector. Additionally, building on the success of the EK1 series across Europe, the hydrostatic version is set to increase the reach of the compact tractor.
The event also highlighted Kubota’s commitment to future technologies, such as automation and connectivity. Attendees saw live demonstrations of KFAST, a self-driving sprayer designed for autonomous spraying solutions and vineyards alongside the M7 and the L1 Series tractor, equipped with an autonomous kit from Agreenculture, designed to address industry challenges such as labor shortages.
The evening concludes with a dynamic entertainment at PortAventura Park, with light shows, live music, and a variety of activities, making it a fitting celebration of Kubota’s legacy and future in Europe.
