Customer experience management company Players 1st has announced the appointment of Liam Barn as Head of Consulting.
With nearly 30 years of experience in multiple roles in the international golf industry, Barn has provided research, strategy, sales and project management services to a variety of clients operating in the private and public sectors.
The role included developing multi-year golf tourism and visitor strategies for national governments and working with over 50 courses and resorts to develop strategies aimed at engaging customers. Past clients include the R&A, Scottish Golf, Scottish Government, Zest.golf and Tourism Northern Ireland.
In his new role, Barn will lead the new Players 1st coaching division, combining his strategic expertise with Players 1st’s data-driven insights to deliver unparalleled value to golf course operators and associations.
