Harry Kane is supporting his England team-mate ahead of Sunday’s game

Harry Kane has backed Jude Bellingham after two disappointing performances for England in the European Championship.

After getting out of the groups, the Three Lions must now face Slovenia on Sunday night as they aim to advance to the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Although England started the tournament as one of the clear favorites, but the confidence of the fans is decreasing after two bad results in a row.

Gareth Southgate’s side drew with Denmark in the second group stage before being held to a 0-0 away draw by Serbia.

Because of this, the Three Lions received a lot of criticism from the fans for playing and putting a few players in the spotlight.

Despite coming off an impressive campaign in Madrid, Bellingham has struggled to replicate this in his last two games with some fans questioning where he will start.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s tournament, England captain Kane backed his international team-mate and urged him to keep pushing forward.

“In Jude’s view, he must continue doing what he is doing.” He said about the Mirror.

“In tournament football, many things are very fast. In the first game he was the best player and the best player and in the last few games none of us reached the level we wanted so much.”
