LONG BEACH – I know it’s almost impossible, but it’s nice to think about it.

Hawaii has not been to the NCAA Tournament since 2010, when it was sent to the Tempe Regional. This year, the Rainbows have been the most improved team in Rich Hill’s second season at the helm. But entering this weekend UofH was the No. 68 in the RPI with a record of 32-15 overall and 15-9 in the Big West.

They also came into this weekend on a tear, riding a D1-leading 11-game winning streak and 13 of their last 14.[…]
