Ind vs NZ 3rd Test – Jasprit Bumrah likely to be rested for Mumbai Test

Jasprit Bumrah is likely to miss the third and final Test of the series against New Zealand in Mumbai. Bumrah was with the team when they started training at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, but what he did was little practice and physical exercise. He did not throw himself during India’s training sessions at the stadium.

Given his other role as the leader of the bowling team, India will want Bumrah to be fit and firing in the five Tests of the tour, which starts on November 18 and runs through to January 7.

There are no indications from the team management, two days after they went to practice at Wankhede, that Bumrah will miss the game.
