The two veterans were seen reacting with gusto to Sarfaraz’s classy celebration, adding some extra fun to an already exciting day of cricket.

In the 57th over of India’s second innings, there Tim Southee Sarfaraz was swinging, he played some excellent backfoot boxing, he sent the ball racing to the boundary for a well-timed four. This shot not only added to India’s rising total but also marked Sarfaraz’s century, a long-awaited personal milestone. Overwhelmed with emotion, Sarfaraz removed his helmet, roared at the sky, and swung his bat in celebration, acknowledging the dressing room, the cheering crowd, and the heavens above.

As the cameras panned to the Indian dressing room, fans were delighted to see Rohit and Virat laughing heartily at Sarfaraz’s celebration, clearly enjoying the youngster’s enthusiasm. A light moment between the seasoned campaigners and the soon-to-be rising star was a highlight of the day.

Average performance by Sarfaraz and strong Rishabh Pant

At the end of the second session on Day 4, India had amassed 438 runs for the loss of six wickets, taking a lead of 82 runs after trailing by 356 runs at the start of the match. This important reform was led by Sarfaraz once Rishabh Panttheir strong cooperation played an important role in India’s recovery.

Sarfaraz’s knock of 150 runs from 195 balls, full of 18 fours and three sixes, was a clear performance. His aggressive yet balanced approach helped India not only get back into the game but regain control of it. On the other hand, wicketkeeper Rishabh provided vital support with his quickfire 99 off 105 balls, which included nine boundaries and five towering sixes. Unfortunately, Rishabh fell short of what would have been a decent century, adding a bitter touch to a different effort.
