India will tour South Africa for four T20Is in November 2024
India is expected to visit South Africa in November this year to play four T20Is. The games will be played between November 8 and 15 in Durban, Gqeberha, Centurion, and Johannesburg.
Hosting India is a life saver for many boards, and CSA is no different. It is understood that the broadcasting revenue from one T20 is equivalent to R150 million (US $8.4 million). CSA announced a loss of R119 million in the last financial year.
“I would like to thank the BCCI for their continued support of cricket in South Africa, and cricket around the world,” said Lawson Naidoo, chairman of the CSA. “Any trip by the Indian cricket team to our shores is full of amazing engagements and exciting cricket, and I know our fans will be eagerly awaiting this series which will showcase the exceptional talent of both teams.”
