Jurgen Klopp’s legacy is amazing says Romano

This weekend, Jurgen Klopp will manage the Liverpool team for the last time.
Nine years ago when he walked through the doors at Anfield for the first time, it’s doubtful that anyone could have predicted just how much the German would leave behind over the next few seasons.
After a barren period in terms of major trophies, Klopp has really put Liverpool back on the map.
Champions League, Premier League, League Cup, FA Cup… he won them all, and captured the hearts of Liverpool fans everywhere.
Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool after the Wolves game
His connection to the club and the city was immediately clear, and he seemed to have that knack of being able to say the right thing at the right time.
It is easy to understand how he was able to inspire his players when the public saw his love on the sidelines or in press conferences.
A mischievous character, he endeared himself to all with his often funny, and sometimes inappropriate, jokes. A Premier League manager with humor and personality? Absolutely not!
He will be sorely missed as he bids farewell and CaughtOffside’s Fabrizio Romano paid a few words of respect to Klopp in his exclusive Daily Briefing.
“To be honest, no words can do Klopp justice at Liverpool. He was just extraordinary, a living legend in the group,” he said.
“The level of appreciation from every single player is the best way to understand how special he was and will be missed.”
There is sure to be no dry eye in the house when the final whistle blows at Anfield.
A result against Wolves will almost certainly happen – not that Klopp would have seen it that way – as the home crowd rose to the occasion to hail Germany as their own for the last time.
The game of football in England would certainly be a lot poorer without Klopp in it, and that is the lasting legacy he left behind; a before and after.
It remains to be seen how many of his players will follow him out the exit door this summer.
