Kim joins An at top in Korea – Golf News

Byeong Hun An overcame a challenging day to set up a thrilling final round with fellow South Korean Tom Kim at the top of the Genesis Championship leaderboard.

The home favorite bogeyed most of the holes in the first two rounds and looked set to break away from the chasing pack when he picked up his first shot on Saturday at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea.

However, he took two more shots, alongside two bogeys, in his one-under 71 to stay close to Kim at 12 under par.

The pair shot ahead of Antoine Rozner, who carded a seven-under 65 to set the clubhouse record, and Ricardo Gouveia and Francesco Laporta in Incheon.

Gouveia, who started the week in 154th place in the rankings, moved up to 107th place after carding a one-under 69 to boost his chances of earning his playing rights for next season.

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, Rikuya Hoshino and Alejandro Del Rey are ten under, while Brandon Stone, Daniel Hillier and first-round leader Ivan Cantero are back.
