Kits confirmed and leaked 2024/25

It’s that point in the year when clubs start releasing their new looks for the 2024/25 season.

Online leaks are gaining in credibility as final designs emerge and some teams have already dropped their kits for the new season.

Here’s what we know about the biggest European kits they’ll be wearing in 2024/25.

Arsenal

There will be some deviation from the distance Invincible-the 2023/24 inspired home kit should Arsenal ditch the blue for their traditional red and white next season, as leaks have suggested so far.

The main difference is the removal of the contemporary crest in favor of the Gunners icon which featured in the 23/24 third kit.

Chelsea

Chelsea’s 2024/25 home shirt is still in the works, but it is believed the Blues will be wearing a kit similar to Barcelona’s third kit from the mid-2000s. The color ‘Guava Ice’ is how experts describe it.

Liverpool

The latest Liverpool x Nike collaboration has garnered backlash – mainly because of the price.

The Reds’ 2024/25 home kit is inspired by the kit worn in the 1983/84 European Cup winning campaign. The shirt will also feature yellow pins that make up the YNWA (You’ll Never Walk Alone) design.

Man City

Man City’s 2024/25 home shirt is harmless. Puma have also opted for caution, although there is a nice touch including ‘0161’ (Manchester’s area code number) on the back of the shirt.

The writing is also in colons, but what it means is not yet clear.

Man Utd

Man Utd’s 2024/25 home kit will be their first strip from 2021/22 to not feature black. It’s red, baby!

There are two shades of red involved, following the template of United’s previous home shirts. The exact design has not been confirmed, the shirt is scheduled to be released in July.

The leaked kit is shown above, adidas in blue.

Newcastle

Out with Castore, in with adidas!

In fact, not much has changed from Newcastle’s 2023/24 home kit. The black and white stripes are slightly thicker, matching the size of the stripes on the Magpies’ 2021/22 shirt. The darker collar is another subtle change.

Tottenham

Did anyone order the dodgy lasagne?

Tottenham’s 2005/06 campaign was marred by last-day poisoning and Kappa’s navy sleeved home strip is the unofficial inspiration behind Spurs’ new home shirt. At least it’s a little different from the basic iterations Nike has done in recent years.

Milan

Puma opted for a jazzy design for 2023/24, but Milan went back to writing for 2024/25. It is the default Rossoneri home strip with black and red stripes. The white collar adds a hint of modernity.

Inter

Unfolding this Inter shirt from left to right might produce a reaction like: “Ah, well, another old Inter shirt in Nerazzurri colors. Look, there’s a Scudetto badge…OH MY GOD, WHAT IS THAT?! “

Diagonal lines bring an element of unnecessary chaos to the classic.

Juventus

adidas has produced a controversial Juventus shirt for 2023/24. Traditionalists didn’t like the gold details, so there was a reversal of the 2024/25 classic.

Not much to comment on here, as Juventus have been seen wearing the Newcastle shirt since the mid-2000s. If Northern Rock were a sponsor.

Atletico Madrid

Diego Simeone’s Atletico have become a bundle of fun and their kits are getting more and more fruitful, too.

Their 2024/25 home kit deviates from just red and white stripes, with blue playing a key role. Alternating blue and red stripes run down the white stripes, creating a chaotic shirt full of details.

Barcelona

Barcelona went back to half and half. Another anniversary year for the Catalan club, cash-strapped Barca will also release a special 125th anniversary strip in the 2024/24 campaign.

Their home kit for next season is the same as their centenary kit from 1998/99. How cute does that central crest look?

Real Madrid

Real Madrid have produced some outstanding kits for the 2023/24 season. adidas have a lot to live up to in 2024/25, but it looks like they’ve done a fantastic job. Madrid’s home shirt doesn’t have the gold but still looks crisp, inspired in a different way. Galactico– time kits.

The away kit is quite striking, with adidas opting for the sharp black and orange combination that Madrid wore in the 2013/14 season.

There is more subtlety to the third kit, but it has a timeless classic design. The charcoal colored strip has a retro feel and is unlike anything Madrid has worn in years. The third kit also has a polo shirt collar and a shiny RMCF pattern.

Bayern Munich

After going white in 2023/24, Bayern Munich, who lost their Bundesliga crown, are returning to red in 2024/25.

White is completely absent from the new home shirt, although there are alternating shades of red and maroon. The club crest struggles to stand out, however.

Bayer Leverkusen

After securing their first Bundesliga title, Bayer Leverkusen fans would be more than content to keep their 2023/24 home shirt for the new season. Black and red dominate again, but the design is very different.

There is no cross, but a crimson front with a unique pattern and black sleeves.

Borussia Dortmund

The yellow and black of Dortmund couldn’t be more prevalent on their 2024/25 home shirt. The yellow front is accompanied by unnecessary thin stripes and tight black sleeves.

PSG

There’s a street-like feel to PSG’s 2024/25 home kit featuring the Parisian club’s classic red, white and navy. The striped design that runs down the center of the shirt has a raw, edgy feel.
