Kyrie Irving Hints at Finals Revenge in Social Media Move

Kyrie Irving appeared to respond to Jayson Tatum’s claim that there will be a rematch of Boston v Dallas in the 2024-25 NBA Finals series.

Celtics star Jayson Tatum made history on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show He recently also predicted another Finals game between the Mavs and the Celtics.

Not long after, Irving changed his Instagram profile picture to a picture of himself standing in front of the Celtics logo at TD Garden.

Of course, Kyrie has a well-documented history with the Celtics. Since 2021 when Irving stepped on the logo, he has gone 1-13 against the team.

His production in the finals against his former club dropped dramatically and it was eating him alive, he revealed in a recent statement. Twitch broadcast.

“Last year was definitely a disappointing year as we did not win the finals. … We got there for a reason,” Irving said. “There is really blood in the water. I will always take my own responsibility. … I definitely have to fix that. I didn’t play very well last season, and it was eating away at my health.”

“I don’t see anyone in the world who can stop me from doing the things I love to do or accomplishing the things I put my heart and mind into,” said Irving. “I’ve had doubts many times in my life and the reason I keep going is because I have a great support system and I have a ‘f**k you’ mentality.”

He continued, “I want to be the best, I want to play with the best.” That’s why I’m thankful that I was able to go first in the NBA and wear a target on my back. I don’t want to smoke, I don’t want to hate any hate, I don’t want to mislead any love I have for myself.”
