There has been tension between LeBron James’ camp and Stephen Curry’s rise to stardom.

NBA expert Sam Amick recently offered some insight into the dynamic between James and Curry, suggesting the rivalry runs deeper than an on-court rivalry.

Speaking on the 95.7 The Game program, Amick revealed that LeBron’s camp was not happy when the media called Curry the best player in the world in recent years.

“LeBron’s people didn’t like it when people started calling Steph the best player in the world, and there was real tension,” Amick said, speaking to Lakers Daily’s Jason Simpson.
