LeBron James Hints About Possible Careers After Basketball
LeBron James revealed where he might end up after his storied basketball career.
Which is at the rate he’s going, it might be a small road for now.
The NBA GOAT was asked if he would consider a career in broadcasting once his playing time is over.
“I don’t know,” said James Gojo and Golic. “I really like this game. I love basketball. I love football. And I watch it – not only as a fan – but I also break down matchups and things like that. And I was introduced to sports. When you grow up in Northeast Ohio, listen, you grow up in sports.
“So, it would be good. I can see Tom Brady doing it. He’s been great so far. We’ll see, even if it’s a guest appearance – one or two games when I’m done playing. But it’s always nice to get back into the game. This sport has given me a lot so if it’s basketball, if it’s football, whatever, I love the word sport because it’s been given to me and my family. And it’s okay for me to give back to it.”
James has experience in the broadcast space, since starting a podcast with JJ Redick last season, called Watch the Game.
Fans loved this unfiltered version of LeBron as he drank red wine on the podcast and talked honestly about basketball stats.
The program has collected millions of views, despite having less than 50 videos published on YouTube.
NBA broadcasters like ESPN would be wise to offer LeBron a contract, as fans would tune in to hear what he had to say. Although it is doubtful that ESPN would allow James to open a bottle of Shiraz live on air.
