Leeds United are set to lose another midfielder as the 28-year-old joins the French club

Leeds United are on the verge of losing another key player as recent reports suggest Glen Kamara has agreed personal terms with Ligue 1 side Rennes.

The Yorkshire club lost one of their biggest players yesterday, with Archie Gray officially joining Tottenham.

The 18-year-old was one of Leeds’ best players last season and is regarded as one of the country’s most promising young talents.

And now they are set to lose another midfielder, Ouest France say Glen Kamara has agreed to move to the French league.

Kamara joined the club last season from Rangers and proved to be a key player in their successful season under Daniel Farke where they came close to promotion, but were beaten in the play-offs by Southampton.

The Finnish midfielder made 40 appearances for the Whites last season in the Championship, scoring three assists. He was a consistent performer, putting in solid shifts each week.

Although he is primarily a defensive player, he can also play as a midfielder, which shows his versatility as a player.
