The Major League Baseball draft took up a lot of our time earlier this week, but many of you asked me about the candidates for the Liberty head coaching job.
In case you haven’t seen the news, Liberty coach Scott Jackson announced late last week that he is stepping down to embrace another opportunity in college baseball after eight seasons with the program. Jackson’s move will be to return to North Carolina as a top assistant – a position he held before becoming head coach of the Flames.
Jackson did not lead the Flames to the NCAA Tournament in the past two seasons[…]
