LIV Golf adds new events in Korea and USA – Golf News
LIV Golf has announced that it has added two new courses to its 2025 league schedule with events to be hosted at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in South Korea and The Club at Chatham Hills in Indiana, USA.
Located in Incheon, near Seoul, the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club previously hosted the 2015 Presidents Cup, which was the first time the tournament was played in Asia. The event in South Korea marks the league’s fourth stop in Asia in 2025, following Riyadh, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The Club at Chatham Hills will host the final individual event of the upcoming season, which will feature players vying for the title of 2025 LIV Golf League Individual Champion and securing the 2026 ‘Lock Zone’ positions.
This tournament will also be the last chance for the players to earn points and avoid relegation, and it will be decided what should be followed by the 2025 Team Championship.
The league also revealed the dates for the return of LIV Golf Chicago’s Bolingbrook Golf Club, LIV Golf Dallas’ Maridoe Golf Club, LIV Golf Andalucía’s Real Club Valderrama, and LIV’s JCB Golf & Country Club Golf UK by JCB.
“LIV Golf is growing globally in new and returning markets, and our 2025 plan is a testament to that,” said LIV Golf Commissioner and CEO Greg Norman. “Bringing LIV Golf to South Korea is another milestone as we continue to expand throughout Asia, and our first event in Indiana will be the perfect community game steeped in the history and culture of the sport.”
“We are excited to build on the incredible success we had last year at the new LIV Golf locations in Chicago, Dallas and the UK, where we set new league attendance records and saw incredible competition on the course. And our partnership with Andalucía continues to deliver an unforgettable experience for players and fans at Valderrama in Spain.”
The third season of LIV Golf begins on February 6 with LIV Golf Riyadh. So far, 10 of the 14 tournaments in the 2025 schedule have been announced, with more announcements expected about the remaining four tournament spots.
